Being a customer and solutions centered company, we have come to learn and adapt to what our customers need and are looking for in their packaging solutions provider. Our CL&D Graphics division takes care of our customer’s higher volume projects by bringing these packaging solutions to market with our consulting efforts and reliability. Our CL&D Digital division can turn around a project in as little as a single day and deals with orders as small as one product with complete customer satisfaction while offering superb project management and production quality materials.

Brian Dowling founded CL&D Graphics in 1978 with just a single press in a small shop in Waukesha, and a few dedicated professionals. He had a clear vision of becoming a world-class flexographic printing company that provides ongoing growth and security for all associates. Today Mike Dowling and Laureen Mair carry on Brian’s tradition with three divisions and over 300 employees.
Innovation has been the leading force in CL&D's growth - Being one of the first flexographic printers in the market was just the beginning.
Despite our continued growth, we have been cautious to stay small enough to care about our people and customers. We believe we have the best collection of associates at CL&D and are proud of the way we do business. We continually challenge ourselves to look at what we do through our customer’s eyes. It’s a practice that has stayed with the company since Brian Dowling founded CL&D, and one that will continue on for years to come.
The quaint Wisconsin town of Oconomowoc has been home to CL&D Graphics' headquarters for years. In nearby Hartland, WI, CL&D Digital was founded in 1995 to fill the sales and marketing needs of our customers. CL&D Digital is able to bring new products to market fast. Yet a third production facility was established in 1999 in Rock Hill, South Carolina to better serve national accounts.
Our four plant locations not only benefits our internal capabilities but also our customers. We do business with several competing brands all around the country. Having the ability to separate competing brands' products and keeping them from ever being constructed under the same roof is a luxury our customers greatly appreciate. Professionalism and confidentiality are top priorities for us. We respect our customers' needs and have built these attributes not only into the way we do business but the CL&D culture as well.
